A women needs a reason to cheat, a man just needs a woman.

Isn't it funny...

To tell you the truth, I was actually finishing my post on the title 'Is there life after work?' and all of the sudden, Wham! my laptop went blank. It turns out that the power cable was not plugged in properly and it just so happens that it took the time to go dead right as I was about to put the finishing touches in my post.

It WAS about four paragraphs long and I was just about to write something that is going to be profound which will make the whole post sweet and meaningful.

I guess even my own computer knows when to shut down when it sees crappy writing. And so it turned out that my very first critique happens to be my very own computer. That's life for you....

But isn't it funny that these kinds of things happen to us on a regular basis?

When you go of to work on a public holiday, when you met someone who you think will be the love of your life but turns out to be gay, when you have completed an assignment ahead of schedule only to find out that your doing someone else’s work, to zig when you should have zipped, to boldly go where no one has gone before and found out WHY no one ever went there in the first place and to always remember that one simple rule -

'If you want something done right, you don't do it at all...'

Of love and other stuffs...

What is love?

The question that has fascinated me till today and till the day I lay to rest. As there is no one answer to it and almost never the same answer given if you ask anyone the question "what is love?". I don't understand why people respond differently when asked this simple question, but what I do know is that you will find more relevant answers form people without even asking them the questions in the first place; all you have to do is sit a while, then watch and listen... and maybe you will come across conversations that reveals what love truly means:

Love is when you walk all the way to the other side of the classroom to sharpen your pencil in order to walk by him/her, then you realize that your pencil... is a BALLPEN.

" Tom had learned anything... it was that you can't ascribe great cosmic significance to a simple earthly event. Coincidence, that's all anything ever is, nothing more than coincidence... Tom had finally learned, there are no miracles. There's no such thing as fate, nothing is meant to be. He knew, he was sure of it now... or is he?" - 500 Days of Summer

Math tells us three of the saddest love stories:
TANGENT; lines who had one chance to meet and then parted forever
PARALLEL; lines who were never meant to meet, and
ASYMPTOTES; who can get closer and closer but will never be together.

# 4
There are 2 dilemmas that rattle the human skull:
"How do you get rid of someone who won't go..." and
"How do you hang on to someone who won't stay?"

Clementine: This is it, Joel. It's going to be gone soon.
Joel: I know.
Clementine: What do we do?
Joel: Enjoy it.

# 6
Tom: What happened? Why - why didn't they work out?
Summer: What always happens. Life.

Irene: "Because it is that which calls us home to the heart." -By the Light of My Father's Smile, Alice Walker

Joel: [voice over] random thoughts for Valentine's day. Today is a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap.

"She said, 'I'm so afraid.' And I said, 'Why?' and she said, 'Because I'm so profoundly happy, Dr. Rasul. Happiness like this is frightening.' I asked her why and she said, 'They only let you be this happy if they're preparing to take something from you,' and I said, 'Hush up now. Enough of this silliness." - Kite Runner

Summer:[she scoffs]
Tom: What?
Summer: You don’t believe that, do you?
Tom: It’s love, it’s not Santa Claus."
- 500 Days of Summer

Tom: Nobody loves Ringo Starr.
Summer: That's what I love about him.

# 17

# 18
"I believe there is one soul in all our time on earth that just matches our own. We are always looking for it, moving in its direction, but so often it is never found," - Manuelito,AW

In life, you will realize that the people you meet have a purpose. Some were put there to test you, some would use you, some would teach you. And some would bring out the better if not the best in you. Some may even cause you pain and heartache but one must learn to move on. So let go of the people who can't treat you right and hold on to those who love you back and see your worth...

In denial we trust

Ah denial… what a wonderful word that brings joy to so many people around the world. Let us rejoice and celebrate the many splendours it brings for without it I know many of us would just up and die in a heartbeat.

Though one would wonder what would we do without it?(gentlemen, start your engines…). Why do we need it in our lives?  And not only that, we seem to be in denial almost every single day of our pathetic non relevant insignificant grain of a sand in the infinite galaxy of beach we like to call life…

Can we live without denial? Can we be truthful of our feelings? Can a cat talk and a donkey fly? Yes my dear friends, only in the movies… So does that make our life a movie? If it is, then is it an action thriller? A romantic comedy? Or a sad, sad pathetic overrated, under budget, long winded no show?

The choice in that, believe it or not still lies for us to finally decide. For it is never over until the fat lady lands straight on top of us and makes instant pancake with our body. That’s right, so if any of you have unfinished business to take care of, any things that has not been spoken to that someone, you may regret it for the rest of your flat lifeless life…

I mean what’s the worst that could possibly happen? You loose a friend? Happens every day. You lose your dignity? That could only happen if you give it away yourself. Loose face? Hey there’s always plastic snuggery. So do like the Adam’s Family and ‘do what you want to do, say what you want to say, dance how you want to dance, play how you want to play…’

Cos notin last 4 ever…
