'Mother....'

...Is the word that is spoken from every mouth of every child in the face of the earth...

Why is it? Is it because they have brought us into this world? Is it because that they have cared for us since the very beginning? Whatever the reason may be for you, the truth if the matter is that we all are in debt to our mother. If God is the creator of life, then mother is the barer of it...(9 months to be precise, give or take a few days maybe ;)

On this day, May 14, we celebrate mothers day with a thought. A thought that I hope will linger on in our minds for years to come to whom ever reads this ode to mothers everywhere.

Let the thought be of thankfulness, that we have a mother who we could call our own. For there are others out there who have and most probably will never know the joy of having a mother. Let the thought be of love, for there could not be a love more true nor caring other than that of a mothers love. Most importantly, let the thought be of hope for some of us will soon take their place as mother to our own sons and daughters and have the strength to carry out that responsibility.

I know that there will always be that saying, "Mother knows best". However, I feel it is always that mother knows best. But for you, and me, we all know that we will know better...
